What Does a Cupping Session Look Like?
At our Chino, CA clinic, your cupping session begins with the gentle placement of up to six cups on your back, depending on your body size and comfort. You'll rest for about 10 minutes while the suction works its magic. Many patients describe a light pulling sensation, and some may notice slight itching as the liver starts to detox.
Depending on the color and pattern of your cupping marks, we’ll assess whether to incorporate gentle massage or moving cups to release tension more deeply. Using high-quality essential oils, we help promote circulation, ease muscle tightness, and reduce stress. Patients often report increased mobility in their neck and back, easier breathing, and less chest tightness after regular sessions.
How Many Sessions Do I Need?
Everybody heals differently. The number of cupping therapy sessions you may need depends on your specific health concerns and how your body responds to treatment. We'll guide you every step of the way.
What To Do Post Cupping?
We recommend patient not to shower or wet their backs and hair the night after cupping therapy. We would like the essential oils that we used during your cupping session to work further in releasing your muscles. We encourage you to take note how long the cupping marks take to disappear. The length of time it takes to disappear is a good therapeutic diagnosis on how fast your body heals.
